Stainless steel TRANSLYFT lifting tables are used in the food industry to provide a smooth and effective handling without heavy lifting operations.

The level of efficiency is raised as well as the working conditions are improved, which makes for a more satisfied workforce and reduces absenteeism.

The stainless steel tables are used where standards of hygiene are very important and where resistance to aggressive chemicals such as salt or harsh cleaning products is required.

The photographs illustrate how LSG
(a Lufthansa daughter company) uses stainless steel tables in a large air catering establishment, where the food must be fresh and the handling quick because there is only little time for unloading and loading an aeroplane.

The empty carts are rolled on to the lifting table with a collapsed height of only 80 mm. The workers lift or lower the table to keep the carts in the correct height for loading the trays without bending down. It saves heavy lifting and bad working postures being one of today’s greatest problems in handling of goods, but at the same time it saves a lot of time because the carts can now be loaded (or unloaded) much quicker than before.

The lifting tables are in all stainless steel and easy to clean. The stainless steel is hygienic and corrosion proof, important features within the food industry and similar industries.

Superlow lifting tables are mounted directly on the floor without pit, which is a great advantage from a point of view of cleaning.

The platform has a fix stop at 3 sides and a fully automatic stop at the 4th side. As soon as the table rises from the bottom position the automatic stop will rise and prevent the carts from rolling off.
